Steve Button


Button has raised over $200MM in investment funding and, as a CFO lead more than a dozen acquisitions totaling $150MM. Steve spent the last ten years as an officer with Proxim Wireless Corporation (OTC:PRXM) andCovad Communications (AMEX: DVW) Steve’s transactional experience has and will continue to be critical to Buying Right.

Chris Bright


Bright has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He presently serves as CEO of GPBM where he focusses on deal origination and operations. Chris has been a franchisee with multiple brands including Dunkin Brands(current franchisee). He is the founder of zpizza International, the franchisor of zpizza. Bright grew zpizza from a 4 unit local chain to a 100 unit national franchise brand. His extensive experience in the restaurant/franchise business makes him uniquely qualified to source and to manage investments in this asset class.

Director of Operations

Brad brings years of food and beverage experience and knowledge to the leadership team. With more than 14 years in the industry, Gaulke's background spans from small independently owned boutique restaurants to large, full service restaurants with banquet facilities. Brad has been recognized throughout his career for food quality excellence, presentation and his coaching and leadership abilities with his staff. Brad's commitment and desire to provide the ultimate customer experience is marked through his training skills, giving each area he touches a competitive edge in today's market.

  • Restaurant M&A : GPBM is constantly engaged in the the process of acquiring restaurants. This velocity of deal flow gives our clients the advantage of acquiring quality assets at a fair price. Our Buy Right philosophy insures we maintain the upper hand in the acquisition process. GPBM’s velocity of deal flow allows it to go under contract with new acquisition candidates, with minimal lost time, if we decide to terminate a transaction because of what we discovered during the due diligence process.  This is our Buy Right advantage.

  • Restaurant Management : GPBM offers a comprehensive array of management and administrative services for its clients.  Since GPBM is co-owner in the businesses it manages, its services do not add cost burden to the operation. GPBM's compensation is generated from its pro rata share of distributable cash flow from each business.

  • Restaurant Valuation : If a client is considering a potential sale, working through ownership changes, requires a business valuation for tax or estate planning our constant investment in restaurant businesses gives us significant data points and credibility in determining the fair market value of a restaurant business.
